I’m Doyin Famuyibo, a writer, wife, mother of two, and the author of A Thousand Letters of Hope. Born in Nigeria and now living in Canada, I write about love, loss, faith, and the memories that shape us.
I lost my mother when I was twelve and my father when I was sixteen. For years, I carried conversations I wished I could still have. Those unspoken words became letters to the people I’ve loved, the younger version of myself, and the family I’ve built.
A Thousand Letters of Hope is my memoir in letters. It holds both the pain of loss and the joy of living—the love that stays with us, the faith that carries us, and the hope we find along the way.
My hope is that, somewhere in these pages, you’ll feel less alone in your own story.
